Your trip, from first search to last log.
How DiveHive goes along on a dive trip, step by step. All of it is free for you.
Find a shop you trust.
Search by area, certification, language and dates, and see who runs trips while you are there.
- Filter the way you think. Area, the agency you dive with, the languages on the boat and your dates.
- Know the shop before you write. Agencies, languages, courses and upcoming trips are on every shop page.
- Follow the ones you like. New trips from shops you follow show up on your Today screen.
Pick a site, know what to expect.
Every dive site shows what the water is doing and what divers saw there lately.
- Conditions and difficulty. Water temperature, waves and tides, and a four-level difficulty rating with its reasons.
- Best months. Visibility, water temperature and marine life by month, from dives logged there.
- Recent sightings. What divers saw this week, with “seen 3 days ago” on each species.
- The species you could meet. Open one for photos, its usual depth and the other sites where it was seen.
Book with your level attached.
Ask to join a trip and the shop already knows who is asking.
- One request. Pick your dives, rental gear and nitrox, then send it.
- The shop sees your level and dive count. So it can say yes without ten messages back and forth.
- You see the price and the free spots. Before you ask, not after.
- Join with friends. Share an invite link. Friends pick their own dives and join your group.
Before the trip: paperwork, once.
Sign the waiver and the medical form once per shop, not once per trip.
- Waiver and medical, once per shop. Signed in the app, and the shop sees it is done.
- Your passport shares only what a shop needs. Certifications and an experience summary, section by section, with your consent. Medical forms stay with each shop.
- A note for your guide. Nervous about the descent? Want to see the frogfish? Tell the guide. Your own dive notes stay private.
- Hand signals to practise. Flashcards and a short quiz, offline, for the boat ride.
Dive day: one screen for all of it.
Today shows your next dive, what is left to do and how the trip is going.
- Your next dive, counted down. Meet time, to-dos and the status of your request in one place.
- QR check-in that works offline. Show your code at the jetty. Waiver, medical and rental are on it, with or without signal.
- Live trip status. See when the trip is boarding or in the water, and share it with whoever waits ashore.
After the dive: a log your guide signed.
Your guide writes the log and it lands in your logbook, signed.
- Verified, not invented. A dive counts as verified only when a guide has signed it. Anything else is marked as your own note.
- Sightings and conditions saved. What you saw, and the visibility, temperature and current, stay with the dive.
- A dive card to share. Send a link. Only people who have it can open the card, and you can revoke it.
Between trips: your people and your places.
The logbook is not only for dive days.
- Buddies. Connect with a QR code, then invite them to a trip.
- Shops you follow. Their new trips show up on Today.
- Clubs. Join a club and see what it has planned.
- A species life list. Tick off what you have seen, with names in your language.
Your dives add to what we know about the ocean.
The sightings and conditions you log can add to the species and ocean data everyone can read.
- Counted, never named. Contributions are anonymised. Public pages never show your name, your dives or your location.
- Sources are credited. Species data and photos always show where they come from.
- You decide. Private mode keeps your logbook to yourself, and each kind of contribution has its own opt-out.
- Cleanup dives. Join a cleanup trip and log the debris you bring up.
